John Herrera

     John Herrera, born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, brings a unique blend of leadership, resilience, and people-first values to the insurance and financial industry. After 22 years in the culinary world—opening restaurants globally and serving as a director at Chick-fil-A—he transitioned into financial services following the passing of his mother, which gave him a deep appreciation for the importance of planning and protection.

     Licensed in health and life insurance (2-15), trained as a Certified Financial Planner, and partnered with KMS Financial Group for business solutions, John is focused on making financial concepts simple and accessible. Guided by the philosophy to “leave everything better than you found it,” he continuously develops as a leader by studying great leaders, embracing innovation, and empowering those around him.

     Outside of work, John enjoys golf, basketball, and the lessons of teamwork he first learned on the football field at Bishop Kenny High School and Florida Atlantic University. His greatest motivation is his daughter, Ella Mae, who inspires his drive to create a better path for his family and those he serves.
