Kevin Steffens, a lifelong Florida native and a current resident of St. Johns County, has been an insurance and financial services professional for nearly 2 decades. Having come from the hospitality and real estate industry, Kevin has always recognized and valued the importance of service and making customers feel like family. Kevin develops strong relationships with his clients and truly approaches every client engagement with the uniqueness that each consultation requires. He knows that one style of planning does not fit all client’s needs and commonly advisors miss many opportunities to truly help their clients by only focusing on one aspect of planning. It is with that uniqueness in mind, Kevin founded KMS Financial Group in 2015. Kevin truly is a strategist at heart. He enjoys the complexities that come with being an advisor and thrives in analyzing the needs of his clients while simultaneously focusing on their immediate and future needs. Kevin understands that the client’s goals will likely change over time and by maintaining open lines of communication, with a commitment to responsiveness, Kevin and his client relationships thrive.
Kevin has been a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors for over 10 years and has held leadership roles for a variety of companies, one of which comes in under 100 on the Forbes fortune 500 list, all of which have played a role in his expertise. When Kevin is not strategizing with his clients, he enjoys spending time with his family, friends and the KMSFG team. He enjoys offshore fishing, surfing, snowboarding, playing golf, being outdoors and traveling. Kevin is well connected and actively involved in his community and is an enthusiastic advocate for both family, friends and clients alike.
